Inventory Update

Like many manufacturers, we’re experiencing unavoidable disruptions to our supply chain coupled with increased demand for our best-in-class outdoor gear from folks looking for new socially distanced adventures. Unfortunately, that’s left some of our most popular products out of stock, which we’re genuinely bummed about. We’re doing everything we can to keep production moving, but some supply issues are simply beyond our control. If there’s a particular product that you’re really after, we encourage you to take these approaches:


Sign up for Back-in-Stock Emails

This is the best way to get notified whenever we receive new inventory. You can sign up on any product page, and we’ll send out an email any time new stock arrives.


Check Your Local Dealers

We’ve tried to keep our local stores supplied as best as possible. On every product page we have a “Find in Store” button for local inventory and a “Find Online” option for our online partners. If we’re out of stock, it’s worth a check to see if they have it.


Shop Early

With the holidays approaching, inventory fluctuations and shipping delays could aggravate the issue. If you’re considering an available product, we recommend purchasing early to ensure you don’t miss out.


At this time we’re unable to share updated timelines for re-stocks on specific products as things are changing quickly and unpredictably. Our customer service team is dealing with a significant backlog of questions, repairs, and warranties that are keeping them busy. As such we encourage you to hold your product availability questions so they can focus on helping others get back outside with their favorite gear!

Our Repair Shop remains CLOSED to walk-in customers but we are accepting packages by mail. If you have gear that needs repaired, click here to begin the process.

Our products are built to withstand the rigors of a life outside and we stand behind the quality of every product we make. If you need to repair a Therm-a-Rest product, we will do everything we can to repair or warranty it as quickly as possible.

Repairs

  • What can be repaired

    MATTRESSES

    Our repair technicians can find and repair punctures, replace valves and reseal the seams on your mattress.

    SLEEPING BAGS, QUILTS AND BLANKETS

    We are able to mend small holes in the fabric of your insulation and repair or replace zipper sliders.

    TENTS

    The repair team can mend tears in the fabric or mesh of your Therm-a-Rest tent and repair bent or broken tent pole segments.

    COTS

    Our repair technicians can repair pole segments and replace cot feet.

    CHAIRS

    We are able to replace the chair stays or poles on all of our collapsible camp chairs.


  • Cleaning

    Your gear must be cleaned before it is sent to our repair technicians. A dirty mattress may be returned to the sender before repairs can be made.


  • Cost

    Please note, we will require your approval and payment prior to processing any repair services that incur a fee.

    MATTRESSES

    We charge $20 to patch up to 10 punctures on your mattress.

    SLEEPING BAGS, QUILTS AND BLANKETS

    Zipper sliders are normally replaced at no charge. Other damage may be repaired for a reasonable fee. Please contact our Customer Service team for an estimate.

    TENTS

    Broken tent poles (and fabric damaged by broken poles) are normally repaired at no charge. Other damage to fabric may be repaired for a reasonable fee. Please contact our Customer Service team for an estimate.


  • Shipping

    Allow 3-4 weeks for your gear to be processed, repaired and returned. We recommend using a carrier that offers tracking and insurance such as UPS or Fed Ex. If you have any questions about the status of your repair/return, please contact us with your Return Authorization Number for easy tracking.


  • Create a Return Authorization Number

    Please fill out this form to create a Return Authorization (RA) Number.

    Place this number along with your name and the return address on the outside of the package used to ship the item to our service center. Include a note with a short description of the problem, your name, shipping address and daytime phone number. Be sure to enter an email address to receive repair updates. We do not sell or share your information with anyone else.

Warranty

  • Therm-a-Rest takes pride in offering the highest-quality camp products and we stand behind every piece of gear that we make. We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all products, except electronic devices, which have a 2-year Limited Warranty.

  • Should your Therm-a-Rest product be found defective under this warranty, Cascade Designs, at its option, will repair or replace it. Mattresses older than two years from the date of manufacture may be replaced with a cosmetically irregular mattress.

  • Shipping charges to an Authorized Repair Center for a damaged product are not covered and are the responsibility of the customer. Return shipping charges for the repaired product will be covered.

  • Create a Return Authorization Number

    Please fill out this form to create a Return Authorization (RA) Number.

    Place this number along with your name and the return address on the outside of the package used to ship the item to our service center. Include a note with a short description of the problem, your name, shipping address and daytime phone number. Be sure to enter an email address to receive repair updates. We do not sell or share your information with anyone else.

  • Normal wear, puncture, abrasion, misuse, alteration, abuse or taking apart of the product is not covered. If your Therm-a-Rest product has repairable damage or wear not covered by your warranty, Therm-a-Rest will complete the repairs for a reasonable fee.

  • Cascade Designs will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow this exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply.

  • Therm-a-Rest sleeping bags are covered under the Better Sleep Guarantee. When you wake up on a Therm-a-Rest sleeping bag, we're confident you'll wake up feeling better than ever. If you are not completely satisfied with your sleeping bag, return it within three months with the original receipt of purchase and we will give you a full refund- no questions asked.

    To receive a refund, please fill out this form to create a Return Authorization (RA) Number.

    Place this number along with your name and the return address on the outside of the package used to ship the item to our service center. Include a note that you would like a refund, your name, original receipt of purchase, shipping address and daytime phone number. Be sure to enter an email address to receive an update about your refund status. We do not sell or share your information with anyone else.

  • THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. THERM-A-REST’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO INCIDENTAL DAMAGES NOT TO EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. THERM-A-REST DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. THIS EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION APPLIES TO ALL LEGAL THEORIES UNDER WHICH DAMAGES MAY BE SOUGHT, AND WILL APPLY EVEN IF ANY REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. EXCLUDING THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED ABOVE, THERM-A-REST AND ITS AFFILIATES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED; AND NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND ANY MANUFACTURER SUPPLIED DESCRIPTION ACCOMPANYING THE PRODUCT. THE REMEDIES ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AGAINST THERM-A-REST AND ITS AFFILIATES, REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY. SHOULD A COURT FIND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY BREACHED, THERM-A-REST’S ONLY OBLIGATION WILL BE, AT ITS OPTION, TO EITHER REPAIR OR REPLACE PRODUCT. SHOULD A COURT FIND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE, THERM-A-REST WILL REFUND TO YOU THE PRODUCT’S ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE.
