Briana Halliwell

Briana is a freelance writer and activist who currently lives where the mountains meet the sea in Mid-Coast, Maine on Wabanaki lands. Raised by a pair of Biologists and self-proclaimed writers, Bri has a knack for spinning tales about her outdoor adventures, which have recently ranged from scaling limestone cliffs in the “little corrals” of El Potrero Chico, Mexico, to scouting out the best natural hot springs in Taiwan. On her home turf, Bri enjoys exploring the woods with her favorite pup, Kali, and climbing the wildly varied metamorphic rock formations in the Camden Hills near her home. Briana is passionate about inspiring people to get outdoors and sharing the beauty and peace that can be found in the natural world. No matter the season, you can find Bri frolicking in the woods or mountains, rock climbing, cross-country skiing, or simply carving her own path through the forest.
